Lawro's Retreat is a clean, airconditioned and family friendly home in the quiet seaside village of Keppel Sands, Central Queensland - right on the Tropic of Capricorn.

We have endeavoured to fill this home with all you need for a relaxing holiday, whether you just want to spend your days at the beach or go fishing or just put your feet up with a good book.

Keppel Sands is only a 25 minute drive from Rockhampton - far enough to "get away from it all" and close enough to make "trips to town" quick and easy. Nestled between 2 estuarine creeks, Pumpkin and the larger Coorooman, Keppel Sands has a large beach, perfect for young families or explorers who wish to investigate the tidal pools.

The Capricorn Coast provides many fabulous tourist attractions from the spectacular Keppel Bay Islands to the Capricorn Caves, there is sure to be something that appeals to everyone.

Inside the home you will find all linen is provided as well as family DVDs, books and games. The kitchen is fully equipped and in the shed there is a second "drinks" fridge and a bait freezer. All bedrooms are airconditioned and have fans and there is a laundry as well.

The large shed and undercover carport provide ample boat and car storage and a place to store your fishing gear after a successful day on the bay.

The yard is fully fenced so if your canine friend wishes to come along they may do so as well. Please advise us if you want to bring your dog. Outside dogs only, please. 

The layout of Lawro's Retreat would be suitable for 2 standard families for those who wish to have a very affordable holiday.
